ABOUT COACH NIKOLAS KAROLIDES

Nik has competed nationally and internationally and coached athletes of all levels, including youth teams, adaptive, V14 climbers, and national competitors. His unique experience as both a coach and competitor gives him valuable insight into what it takes to reach the highest levels in climbing.

Before working with Nik, I had never followed a structured training plan—I just climbed. As an AMGA Mountain Guide, I’ve spent years in the mountains, but strength training was the missing piece in my performance. Since starting with Nik, I’ve felt stronger than ever, getting back on 5.13s with confidence and power. His training has been essential in preparing me for upcoming trips to Patagonia and Kyrgyzstan, giving me the strength and resilience I need for big objectives. My coaching process begins with a 30-minute consultation, where we discuss your climbing history, strengths, and goals.

This session is a chance for us to connect and dive deeper into your climbing background and how we can optimize your performance based on your goals. Together, we’ll start shaping a plan that fits your life and supports sustainable progress across all areas of your climbing—strength, technique, performance, and injury prevention.

Video Anylsis

Using video analysis I assess your technical, physical, tactical, and mental abilities to create a personalized training plan.

Using video analysis, I determine areas of improvement and design drills that refine technique, build strength, sharpen decision-making, and build confidence—all within a plan built for long-term progress.

Viewing your Plan

All plans are shared through the TrainHeroic app for easy access.

Getting your plan is simple. You’ll receive an email invite, and once you download the TrainHeroic app, you can access your personalized training calendar. Each day’s workout includes clear instructions and demo videos for strength exercises and climbing drills.

Tracking Progress

TrainHeroic App Allows easy access and tracking.

Tracking your progress is key to long-term improvement. TrainHeroic lets you log workouts, track climbing sessions, and monitor strength gains over time. It makes it easy to visualize progress, spot trends, and stay motivated as you work toward your goals.
